Krkobabic talks with Romanian Labour Minister

Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Jovan Krkobabic talked today in Belgrade with Romanian Minister of Labor, Family and Social Protection Marian Sârbu about social policy issues and reforms, as well as about measures adopted to deal with the global economic crisis.
Krkobabic, who is on a two day visit to Romania, stated for Beta news agency that during his meeting with Sârbu bilateral relations concerning social policy were also discussed and opinions were exchanged about pension and disability insurance and fiscal policy as a whole.
We talked about the fact that despite the crisis both countries must make maximum efforts to ensure improvements in the social welfare system, said Krkobabic.
He said that it was decided that talks will be continued very soon in Belgrade, where agreements will be signed concerning social insurance and cooperation between the labour ministries of the two countries.
Krkobabic said that tomorrow he will meet with Romanian Prime Minister Emil Boc, with whom he will talk about expanding bilateral relations as well as Romania’s support for Serbia’s EU integration.
