At a public debate concerning the draft law, held at the Zajecar City Assembly, Dinkic pointed out that there are large disparities among Serbian municipalities, adding that a lot of people leave eastern Serbia for foreign countries.
This law, being in line with European standards, will help prevent further migration of Serbian citizens.
We will create seven Euro-regions in order to establish a direct connection between Serbian and EU regions and thus enable EU pre-accession assistance and the decentralisation of Serbia, explained the Minister.
Dinkic stressed that this is the most important law to be adopted in Serbian parliament in the upcoming period, as it will provide conditions for an even development of the entire country.
Dinkic also met with businesspeople from the Zajecar District and made them familiar with the government’s measures for surmounting the global financial crisis.
