Great interest in tenders for two thermal plants

Deputy Prime Minister for EU Integration Bozidar Djelic stated today that Czech company CEZ and energy circles in Europe are very interested in taking part in the tenders for two new thermal plants that Serbia announced last week.

We want to attract a great number of participants for the tenders to be successful, Djelic said.
He announced he will meet with representatives of three major energy companies in Germany that also showed interest in the tenders.
We will do everything in our power for this to be one of the most successful energy events in Europe this year, Djelic stressed.
He recalled that the tenders were announced for thermal plants Kolubara B and Nikola Tesla B3, an investment worth around €1.4 billion.
For now, we have announced tenders for collecting letters of interest in joint investment with EPS, Djelic said noting that majority foreign ownership is also acceptable for us.
