Deputy Prime Minister in charge of EU Integration today stated that the EU integration process is not obligatory for Serbia, but it is a great chance for progress.
In a statement to the Tanjug news agency,
before his visit to the Czech Republic, Djelic said that he is not surprised by
the results of an opinion poll, according to which Serbia’s EU aspirations are supported by 6% less citizens than last year.
These results are, first of all, a message for the EU that support for integration directly depends on progress in Serbia.
Djelic also said that it is of common interest for all Serbian citizens to be included in all aspects of life in the EU.
