More rationalized budget proposals for Universiade adopted

The cabinet of Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic stated that at today’s session, the organising committee of the 25th Summer Universiade in Belgrade adopted the rationalized budget proposals and the procurement plan for this event.
The statement specifies that the budget of RSD 4.5 billion will be covered from funds earmarked from the budgets of the state, the City of Belgrade and Vojvodina.
Around RSD 2.5 billion from the budget has been projected for investments in sports facilities, equipment and similar.
Equipment for the university village will be distributed to students’ homes after the Universiade.
That way, Serbian students will get 10,000 beds, 17,000 chairs and other equipment, adds the statement.
