Djelic congratulates Montenegro on its EU candidacy bid

Deputy Prime Minister for EU Integration Bozidar Djelic, on behalf of the Serbian government, today sent a message of congratulations to Montenegro regarding its submission for EU candidate status.
Djelic stressed that this is an important event, not only for Montenegro, but for all Western Balkan countries.
“Your submission of the application for EU candidate status will strengthen the European perspective of the entire region”, reads the Minister’s letter.
Djelic also sent the message of felicitation to Montenegrin Deputy Prime Minister for EU Integration Gordana Djurovic, wishing that she succeeds in speeding up Montenegrin EU integration.
