A Serbian delegation, headed by Deputy Prime Minister Jovan Krkobabic, will participate in the forum “Dialogue with the UN High Commissioner for Refugees”, which will be held in Geneva, from December 9 to 11.
According to a Deputy Prime Minister’s Cabinet statement, the meeting will discuss the problems of long-lasting refugees. Since Serbia is among five countries in the most difficult position regarding refugees, it expects a separate fund to be formed in this respect.
Serbia also expects to be granted considerable funds to solve its problems regarding refugee centres and aid to help the most vulnerable.
The Serbian delegation will also meet with High Commissioner for Refugees Antonio Guterres, President of the International Committee of the Red Cross Jakob Kellenberger and representatives of governments and NGOs.
