Ten candidates were nominated for the Economic Leader in Serbia award, which has been awarded by the Economist Media Group for the first time in Serbia and Dinkic won 25% of the votes.
Upon receiving the award last night, Dinkic said it serves as an incentive to him to continue with a firm economic policy.
He stressed that the government’s economic policy implies cutting down unnecessary expenditure, as well as ensuring better jobs and living conditions for citizens.
President of the Banca Intesa Executive Board Draginja Djuric was awarded the Banker of the Year award.
Company Soko Stark was declared the most successful socially responsible Serbian company, since it has financed a project to build a safe house.
Television B92 was declared the media group which most contributed to raising awareness of the need to help the most vulnerable groups within society.
The Business Leader award has been presented to Telekom Srbija, which last year made a profit of €350 million.
