Police cooperation agreement between Serbia, Moldova to be signed

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic and Moldovan Police Minister Gheorghe Papuc agreed today to prepare and sign an agreement on police cooperation, repatriation and joint training of personnel.

Dacic said that the police of the two countries had already cooperated in actions tackling organised crime and also indirectly, through Interpol, Europol and SECI Centre in Bucharest.
He noted that direct cooperation would better be so that the two police forces could exchange information, in a move to tackle crime more severely.
Dacic will today in Moldova participate in the summit of government heads of members of the Central European Initiative.
