Dacic on three day visit to Germany

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic is on a three day visit to Germany where he is taking part in the 7th Congress on European Security and Defence.
The Ministry says in a statement that European Commission Vice President and Commissioner for Judiciary and Security Jacques Barrot opened the meeting, adding that Dacic also met with Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister Meglena Plugchieva.
Dacic and Plugchieva discussed the traditionally good cooperation between Serbia and Bulgaria and Plugchieva invited Dacic to Bulgaria.
Dacic also met with European Parliament president Hans-Gert Petering and Commissioner Jacques Barrot, who voiced full support to visa liberalisation for Serbia and its EU accession.
Tomorrow in Berlin Dacic will meet with Parliamentary State Secretary at the German Ministry of the Interior Peter Altmeier, State Secretary of Foreign Affairs Gernot Erler, representatives of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation and German MPs, adds the statement.
