Djelic authorised to head Universiade 2009

At the meeting of the Organising Committee of the 25th Summer Universiade in Belgrade Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic authorised Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic to lead the Universiade 2009 project on behalf of the government.
Djelic, who chaired the meeting, notified the Organising Committee that director of Universiade 2009 Sinisa Jasnic no longer has the authority to make decisions regarding the Universiade.
Djelic appointed president of the executive board Nebojsa Ilic as chief coordinator of Universiade 2009.
The Organising Committee ordered the executive board to prepare a financial report on activities undertaken so far and the final budget proposal for the next meeting.
