Djelic to take part in Danube conference in Brussels

Serbian Deputy Prime Minister in charge of EU integration Bozidar Djelic will take part in the Danube conference in Brussels today and sign a Memorandum on Cooperation between Serbia and Germany’s Baden-Wurttemberg Region.
This agreement will be an introduction to setting up mixed commissions for trade cooperation, and it also envisages that Baden-Wurttemberg helps Serbia’s EU integration process.
The two-day Danube conference, taking place in the UN Baden-Wurttemberg headquarters, is aimed at networking all Danube countries and regions, and their institutions and non-government organisations.
A number of Serbia’s representatives, including President of the Vojvodina Executive Council Bojan Pajtic, President of the Zoran Djindjic Foundation Ruzica Djindjic and representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development, the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Infrastructure will take part in the conference.
Romanian President Trajan Basesku and EU Commissioner for Regional Policy Danuta Hubner will also be present.
