Best conditions for young scientists in Serbia

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Science and Technological Development Bozidar Djelic, who is staying in Spain, visited today the Barcelona Supercomputer Centre where 12 young scientists from Serbia are working on a supercomputer project.

Djelic stressed that the young from Serbia can work alongside top computer experts, just as they do here in Barcelona, adding that the state has to provide conditions for them to work in Serbia as well.
As the presiding country over the European Supercomputer Club, Spain has invited Serbia to join this organisation and added that this is a way to include Serbian science in the branch that represents future.
Djelic also said he is very proud of the 12 young people from Serbia who are working at the Supercomputer Centre.
Yesterday he took part in an international conference themed "The EU and South East Europe" devoted to the process of bringing countries in the region and Turkey closer to EU membership.
Tomorrow, on the last day of his visit, the Deputy Prime Minister will hold a lecture themed "Kosovo in Serbia, Serbia in Europe“ at the headquarters of the European Commission in Madrid.
