Serbia will fulfil its international obligations

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Ivica Dacic met today with Chief Prosecutor of the Hague Tribunal Serge Brammertz and stressed that Serbia will fulfil all its international obligations in accordance with the law.

Dacic said he expects the International Criminal Tribunal for former Yugoslavia to treat equally all crimes committed in former Yugoslavia and pointed out it is necessary to respect the rights of all indictees and treat them properly.
He also said that certain cases should be processed before the domestic courts and voiced belief that Brammertz’s report will enable implementation of the transitional agreement.
Dacic and Brammertz concluded that their meeting was a constructive one.
