Police cooperation between Serbia, Republika Srpska very successful

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Ivica Dacic spoke today in Banja Luka with his counterpart from Republika Srpska Stanislav Cadjo about cooperation between the two ministries.

Cooperation between the two interior ministries has been very successful, especially in revealing and cutting down on all forms of organised crime, including the smuggling of drugs, weapons and human trafficking.
Dacic said that this part of Europe, which includes Republika Srpska, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, as well as parts of Serbia in the south, Kosovo-Metohija, is a transit route for the smuggling of drugs, weapons and human trafficking.
This area has also become a base for forms of international terrorism, he underlined.
This is why cooperation with all other countries in this part of Europe is necessary, as police cooperation does not know borders or political differences, he said.
It was also agreed to hold another meeting at the end of October, according to a statement.
