They highlighted the necessity of insisting on implementation of the Sarajevo Declaration and respect of the Vienna Agreement. It was also agreed to initiate a law on refugees.
Krkobabic said that Serbia should more actively take part in the return of refugees and that a credible data base on refugees needs to be made to speed up the solving of their problems.
The Serbian Commissariat for Refugees with therefore be reorganise, he said and added that the government will improve cooperation with refugee associations from Croatia.
Participants at the meeting were Commissioner for Refugees Vladimir Cucic, secretary general of the Association of Serbs from Croatia Milojko Budimir, president of the management board of the Society for Peace, Development and Ecology Dusan Ecimovic, president of the management board of the Humanitarian Centre for Integration and Tolerance Ratko Bubalo, representative of the Democratic Initiative for Knin Rade Matijas and president of the Pensioners Association from Croatia Jovo Kablar.
