Slovak support to Serbia in preserving its territorial integrity

Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic expressed thanks to Slovakia for its firm support to our country in efforts to maintain and confirm its territorial integrity.

At the opening of 47th Slovak folk events, Djelic stressed that Serbia has a true and permanent partner in Slovakia and added that Slovakia gives a great contribution to Serbia's efforts to enter the EU.
He noted that almost in every European form, Slovakia is one of the most important allies of Serbia, adding that we can learn from Slovakia how to achieve quick and important econmomic results.
A telegram of support was sent by Slovak President Ivan Gasparovic while the representatives of the Slovak government were deputy prime ministers Dusan Caplovic and Stefan Harabin.
Caplovic said that Slovakia firmly supports Serbia’s European integration and opposes violation of international law when proclamation of Kosovo’s independence is concerned.
The event’s opening were also attended by Deputy Prime Minister Jovan Krkobabic, Minister of Youth and Sports Snezana Samardzic-Markovic, Minister of Education Zarko Obradovic, representatives of parliament and the Vojvodina Executive Council, municipalities of Serbia, religious communities, and other guests.
