In a statement to RTS, Djelic stressed that some of those laws are crucial for inclusion on the White Schengen List, such as the law on foreign individuals, state border management or protection of personal data.
This package also includes the law on food safety and a series of projects allowing Serbia to get good marks in the European Commission's report expected in November, which would help the country gain EU candidate status.
To attain that, we will have to adopt these laws; Djelic said noting that he presented in
yesterday's government session a legal plan pertaining from the partnership with the EU.
