Bojan Dimitrijevic
The 260-page guide, published by Princip-Bonart Press, contains addresses, phone numbers, photos and facts about Serbia’s tourist attractions. The guide is available in Serbian, English and German.
Dimitrijevic said that 300,000 copies will be distributed at Batrovci and the Horgos and Kelebija border crossings with Hungary, noting that nearly two million visitors enter Serbia via the three border crossings every year.
The Serbian Tourist Organisation will prepare a tourist map of Corridor 10 and deliver its copies to foreign visitors free of charge, the Minister added.
The Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Services and the Ministry of Finance will boost tourism budget to between €7 and 8 million next year, said Dimitrijevic, adding that the largest portion of the funding will be transferred to local banks for soft loans.
According to Assistant Minister of Diaspora Miodrag Jaksic, Serbian nationals who own travel agencies abroad will work closer with local travel agencies as part of efforts to attract more tourists to Serbia.
