The government adopted bills to amend and supplement the Law on the Budget System, the Law on Value Added Tax, the Law on the Tax on the Import of Carbon-Intensive Products and the Law on the Tax on Greenhouse Gas Emissions.
It also adopted bills to amend and supplement the Law on Tax Procedure and Tax Administration, the Law on Excise Duties, the Law on Fiscalisation, the Law on Electronic Invoicing, the Law on Electronic Delivery Notes and the Law on Public Debt.
As part of the business support measures, the government members adopted conclusions approving programmes that provide systemic support for the small and medium-sized enterprise sector, domestic food and furniture production, the development of women’s entrepreneurship and other areas.
The session adopted the Creators of Serbia Programme, supporting the small and medium-sized enterprise sector; the Domestic Quality – From Local Raw Materials to Premium Products Programme; the 2026 Financial Support Programme for Furniture Manufacturing and Wood Processing; the Young People Creating Serbia Programme – a financial support programme for young entrepreneurs in 2026; and the Return and Create Programme.
The government also adopted the Women Driving Serbia programme; the Building Space for Your Growth production facilities development support programme; and the Capital for Development subsidised loan programme for the purchase of equipment and working capital.
The session also adopted two decrees establishing the 2026 Balanced Economic Development Support Programme for Serbia, titled “Equal Opportunities for Development and Prospects for Underdeveloped Areas of Serbia,” and the United for Success in Every Region Programme, a programme supporting associations for the development of entrepreneurship in 2026.
The government also approved the establishment of cooperation between the City of Leskovac and the City of Gravina in Puglia, in the Italian Republic, in areas of mutual interest, including economic, business and scientific and technological development, agriculture, education, science, culture and sport.
