Full observance of the Dayton peace accord is the key to a stable Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kostunica said, noting that the accord implementation has yielded good results so far, particularly in curbing all forms of extremism.
Serbia-Montenegro is interested in bolstering ties with Bosnia-Herzegovina, the Prime Minister went on to say, adding that cooperation is of high importance for the region’s European Union integration efforts.
According to Ashdown, Republika Srpska plays an important role in the future of Bosnia-Herzegovina whose foundations have been laid in the Dayton peace accord.
He also called on Serbia-Montenegro and Bosnia-Herzegovina to step up cooperation in the fight against organised crime and drug trafficking.
Stressing that the Serbian government is ready to join efforts with Bosnia-Herzegovina to combat organised crime, Kostunica said that over half of recently adopted bills will help establish the rule of law and root out crime and corruption.
