First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Siniša Mali will start his working visit to Washington by participating in the Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group.
The meetings of the IMF and the World Bank Group began on 21 April and will last until 26 April, and the gathering in Washington brings together central bank governors, finance ministers, members of parliament, private sector leaders, representatives of civil society organisations and academics to discuss issues of global importance.
On the first day of his visit to Washington, Mali will have meetings with representatives of three international ratings agencies – S&P Global Ratings, Moody’s and Fitch Ratings – as well as with Deputy Managing Director of the IMF Bo Li and Vice President for the Europe and Central Asia Region at the World Bank Antonella Bassani.
During his visit to Washington, the First Deputy Prime Minister will also attend a Constituency meeting, and on 25 April, he will meet with investors to present the Republic of Serbia’s potential for further investments.
On the last day of his visit to Washington, Mali will meet with Head of the IMF Mission to Serbia Donal McGettigan and Director of the IMF’s European Department Alfred Kammer.
