Significant space for improving cooperation with Kazakhstan

At the meeting in the Palace of Serbia, Dačić emphasised the importance of intensifying the exchange of visits at the highest and highest level with the aim of better mutual understanding and improvement of bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
He expressed his gratitude to the Republic of Kazakhstan for political support in preserving the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia, especially for the principled position of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the issue of non-recognition of the so-called Kosovo.
Dačić also reminded that the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Kazakhstan marked the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations in 2021 and confirmed their mutual readiness to intensify political dialogue and give a new impetus to the improvement of bilateral relations, adding that the opening of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Serbia in 2019 additionally contributed to the improvement of relations between the two countries.
Dačić and Jumanğarin stated that the overall relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Kazakhstan are traditionally very good and friendly with the perspective of further development, as well as that there is significant room for improving cooperation, especially in the field of trade exchange of goods and services, processing industry, energy, infrastructure, agriculture and pharmaceutical industry.
They expressed the expectation that the holding of the Intergovernmental Serbian-Kazakhstan Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation will provide a concrete contribution to the additional improvement and expansion of bilateral economic cooperation, i.e. further expansion of trade, economic and investment ties.
Dačić expressed particular satisfaction over the upcoming visit of President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to our country, which testifies to the importance of friendly relations and firm determination for further development and deepening of overall cooperation between the two friendly countries.
