The inflation rate is within the planned limits, and in the coming period, the growth of salaries, pensions and minimum wages is also expected, it was said at the meeting.
Speaking about the retail prices of basic and other foodstuffs, Prime Minister Vučević told the ministers that it is necessary to "step into the shoes of the ordinary man" and make maximum efforts to further raise the standard of living of citizens.
The ministers informed the Prime Minister about the progress of the implementation of projects from different departments, as well as about the challenges they are facing, and one of them was the long-term drought, which will affect the slightly lower yield of corn and soybeans.
In order to preserve sustainable economic growth, it was pointed out at the meeting, it is necessary to continue with further investments in capital projects in the areas of construction, road and railway infrastructure and realization and execution of the budget in all areas.
