Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica said today during the talks with Chief Prosecutor of the Hague tribunal Carla del Ponte that the Serbian government is fully resolved to successfully complete cooperation with that tribunal.
Kostunica stressed that Serbia has fulfilled most of its obligations so far and that it is necessary to bring cooperation with the tribunal to an end.
The Serbian Prime Minister said that since significant progress has been made in cooperation with the tribunal, it is in Serbia's state interest to complete all remaining obligations. He pointed out that it is very important that cooperation develops without obstacles in the part concerning the availability of documents from the state archives.
Hague tribunal chief prosecutor Carla del Ponte stressed that it is very important for the tribunal that the case of Ratko Mladic be resolved as soon as possible.
