Prime Minister Professor Đuro Macut, MD, DSc, spoke today with Ambassador of the United Mexican States to Serbia Carlos Félix about further improving bilateral relations and strengthening cooperation in areas of common interest.
Macut emphasised that Serbia highly appreciates Mexico’s principled stance and consistent support for preserving the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia, as well as its unchanged position regarding the non-recognition of the unilaterally declared independence of the so-called Kosovo.
At the meeting, it was assessed that the two countries cherish traditionally friendly relations, based on mutual respect and understanding.
The interlocutors discussed opportunities for intensifying economic cooperation, primarily in the areas of the economy and industry, as well as improving cooperation in other sectors of mutual interest.
The Prime Minister emphasised that Serbia attaches great importance to the further development of relations with Mexico.
