The government of the Republic of Serbia adopted at today's session, on the initiative of President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, a conclusion recommending that employers in our country should allow their employees not to work on the second day of Christmas – 8 January 2024.

With the same conclusion, employers are recommended to provide employees who work on 8 January with the rights that belong to the employee for working on a holiday that is a non-working day.
