Prime Minister Ana Brnabic spoke today with President of the European Judo Union (EJU) Laszlo Toth, who is visiting Belgrade on the occasion of the Congress of the European Judo Union and the Champions League.
The Prime Minister pointed out that the Congress held in Serbia is an important sports event of the Judo Federation of Serbia and the European Judo Union, which will be organised in the following years, and added that it positions Serbia as an important segment in the development of sports in Europe.
Brnabic emphasised that in the future our country will be the development centre of judo for this part of Europe, both through projects and sports events, which our association will prepare with the European Judo Union, and through the expansion and promotion of the sports values that judo inherits.
Toth said that Serbia is extremely important and highly respected, and emphasized that he appreciates the long-term cooperation with the Judo Association of Serbia, which is one of the strongest associations in Europe.
The Champions League competition will gather the best clubs from Europe on 9 December this year in the Stark Arena in Belgrade.
