The Serbian government stated that today a meeting was held dedicated to the Draft law on amendments to the Law on protection of persons with mental illness, which was attended by high representatives of UNICEF, World Health Organisation, Delegation of the European Union to Serbia, United Nations and the Embassy of Norway to Serbia.

Serbian government representatives highlighted the importance of this law and expressed their gratitude to the international partners for their invaluable contribution and constant commitment to this topic.
Also, significant progress was noted in drafting the text of the law and it was pointed out that the consultative process will be continued with the aim of reaching the final text of the amendments to the law in an inclusive and comprehensive manner.
