Students from Serbia-Montenegro to get US visas more easily

Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica talked today with US Assistant State Secretary for Consular Affairs Maura Harty and US Ambassador to Serbia-Montenegro Michael Polt.
US officials said during the meeting that students and postgraduates from Serbia-Montenegro who plan to continue their schooling in the US will get visas more easily, as part of further improvement of cooperation between Serbia-Montenegro and the US.
Kostunica said that over the past two years, the Serbian government adopted a considerable number of systemic laws, among which are the laws which regulate certain fields for the first time. He added that the law on restitution is in preparation, which will tackle that issue in the best manner.
US Assistant State Secretary for Consular Affairs Maura Harty expressed interest in the case of Bitici brothers, and was informed that court proceedings on that issue have been launched.
