Since 7 April, when the Public Call was published, until now, about 265,000 requests have been received.
This type of support, in conditions of increasing production costs, enables equal treatment of all farms, stimulates the implementation of optimal agrotechnical measures in production, which leads to the improvement of the competitiveness of agricultural farms.
Members of the government adopted the Proposal for a Decree on establishing the programme for encouraging the development of entrepreneurship through financial support for start-ups and young people in 2023.
The government also adopted the Decree on establishing the programme for Encouraging Entrepreneurship through Development Projects in 2023, which provides support to the sector of small and medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurs in order to encourage investments by business entities in expanding production and strengthening competitiveness, with the aim of creating new jobs.
The goal of the programme is to support investments and encourage faster economic development. It is planned to support 150 economic entities under this programme and it is also a low-value aid (de minimis aid).
Members of the government also adopted the Conclusion on consent to start the procedure for the application of the Republic of Serbia for membership in the European Laboratory for Molecular Biology EMBL, which conducts basic research in molecular biology and molecular medicine and trains scientists and students.
Membership in EMBL enables national scientific communities to access the infrastructure and services of structural biology, scientific services and facilities, visits to leading universities to inform students about the EMBL international doctoral program and postdoctoral program, visits to leading institutes to explore the potential for future cooperation, doctoral students acquire the right and the possibility for short-term internships and funding from the EMBL budget, and the exchange of knowledge at workshops and conferences is also possible.
