On this occasion, Ruzic pointed out that the Memorandum signed will contribute to better cooperation between Serbia and Italy in the field of education, science, technological development and innovation.
The signing of the Memorandum was preceded by a meeting between Minister Ruzic and the Italian minister, during which the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries in the field of higher and dual education was discussed.
He recalled that a large number of Italian companies operate in Serbia, and assessed that it is important that as many of them as possible be included in the dual education system.
Begovic pointed out that the government is intensively investing in infrastructure, both scientific and innovation-related, through the construction of science and technology parks, centres of innovation and excellence, and announced that the BioSense Institute will be opened in April.
The partnership with Italy, as an extremely developed industrial country, where basic and applied science is nurtured, will serve as additional support for science in our country to get the place it deserves, Begovic said.
Minister Ruzic closed the Serbia-Italy Business and Science Forum, which was held at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, аnd the Declaration on cooperation in the field of higher education, science, culture and art was signed on that occasion.
