Bearing in mind that the Agreement enables Serbia to access the European Union budget for research, Serbian scientific research organisations will be on an equal footing with organisations from countries that are full members of the European Union.
Given that, in this way, the state of research activity in our country and the pursuit of scientific work will be significantly improved, and the conditions for scientific work will be the same as in the European Union, one of the main causes of the departure of young highly educated personnel from Serbia will be significantly diminished.
The government also adopted and amended the Decree on establishing the Programme of financial support for agricultural producers of sunflower in 2022 and allocated funds in the total amount of RSD 2,200,000,000 for these purposes.
At the session, a Decision was made on the formation of the Network for the fight against fraud and the management of irregularities in the handling of the financial resources of the European Union in order to more effectively implement measures and procedures for the prevention, control, detection and sanctioning of irregularities and frauds in the handling of the financial resources of the Union.
The network meets as needed, at least once every two months.
