Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica today sent a telegram of condolence to Slovakian Prime Minister Mikalus Dzurinda, on the tragic plane accident that claimed the lives of 42 people.

“The citizens of Serbia-Montenegro and I personally are deeply shocked at the news of yesterday’s plane accident which killed a large number of Slovakian soldiers, and especially the fact that the soldiers in question were those who were a part of KFOR units and contributed to peace keeping and stability in Kosovo-Metohija.
On behalf of the Serbian government and myself I convey to you, Mr. Prime Minister, our most sincere and heartfelt condolences, with the request that you convey them to the families of the victims,” says the telegram of condolence.
