Decree on the extraordinary intervention measure of support to flour producers adopted

At today's session, the government of the Republic of Serbia adopted the Decree on Criteria for Awarding Incentives to Employers Employing Newly Registered Residents in the Republic of Serbia, which is an important measure for adapting employers to new business conditions.

The regulation will provide incentives to domestic employers, while maintaining an equal fiscal burden, so that wages paid to foreign nationals or domestic returnees, as well as persons educated abroad, are competitive with the wages of foreign employers.

The government passed the Decree on the extraordinary intervention measure of support to flour producers and allocated RSD 160,000,000 for those purposes.

The government also amended the Decision on temporary restriction of exports of basic agri-food products in order to prevent shortages of these products.

At the session, a decision was made on the opening of the seasonal border crossing for international air traffic of passengers "Ponikve" in the period from 1 April to 31 October this year, in order to simplify the procedures for the realization of international flights.

The government also passed a decision on opening a permanent border crossing for international water transport of passengers and goods with all inspection services "Backa Palanka", which will enable more efficient implementation of border procedures of domestic and foreign ships at that border crossing on the Danube.

Also, conditions will be created for border control of all vessels entering Serbia coming from the direction of Hungary and Croatia, as well as all vessels leaving our country.

In addition, ships will be kept shorter during border control, unnecessary costs will be reduced, and on the other hand, the working conditions of officials in that area will be improved.
