Action Plan for Implementation of Judicial Development Strategy to 2025 adopted

The Serbian government adopted today the Action Plan for the Implementation of the 2020-2025 Judicial Development Strategy, in the period from 2022 to 2025, which enables further strengthening of the state, access to justice and legal security for the purpose of quality and efficient protection of rights and freedoms of citizens and raising the level of trust in the judicial system.

The government adopted the Conclusion allowing export of mercantile wheat and mercantile corn to legal entities which export these products to the Republic of Italy, on the basis of agreements made before the entry into force of the Decision on temporary ban of export of basic agricultural products important for the population.

The Serbian government estimated that the export of mercantile wheat will not cause disturbances in the functioning of the food and agriculture sector of our country and will not endanger food security of the population, but will contribute to building trust and maintaining good trade relations in the region.

The government passed the Decision on acquiring the status of the institute of national importance for the Novi Sad Institute of Crop and Vegetable Farming for the purpose of making research in the field of biotechnology sciences - agriculture and biotechnology, with the aim of further developing and improving the general knowledge fund, raising technical and technological level, valorising research results and disseminating scientific knowledge and education and training staff for scientific research work.

The government also passed the Decision on determining the annual plan for adult education in the Republic of Serbia for 2022, after the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development collected the necessary data, through school administrations, from the autonomous province, local self-government units, chambers of commerce, employers' associations and representative unions and other entities.

The plan identifies priority educational and work areas and activities of adult education, taking into account the needs of the labour market, rational use of existing educational capacities, number of candidates and participants in education, development specifics of individual areas, goals and principles of adult education.

The Serbian government made the Decision to change the name of the National Museum of Belgrade to the National Museum of Serbia, given its role of the central institution for the protection of museum material in the territory of the Republic of Serbia.
