Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Mining and Energy Zorana Mihajlovic talked today with Deputy Prime Minister of Slovakia and Minister of Economy Richard Sulik about cooperation between the two countries in the energy sector.
We reached an agreement that as two friendly countries we work together in the field of energy improvement, today the most important areas in the world, to exchange experiences and support each other in future energy and economic development, Mihajlovic pointed out.
She added that everything will be done to connect Serbian and Slovak companies even more, to exchange experiences and to think about new projects that Serbian companies can work on in Slovakia, and Slovak companies in Serbia.
Sulik pointed out that Serbia and Slovakia have a lot in common, from energy to Serbia's accession to the European Union.
Slovakia has a lot of experience in that, because it started its EU accession process earlier, we are here to share experiences, but also to express support to the Republic of Serbia on the road to the EU, said Sulik.
The meeting focused on energy transition and models for ensuring energy stability between the two countries.
