This agreement signed yesterday by Director of the Institute Dubravko Culibrk and General Manager of Continental Automotive Serbia Sasha Cioringa is the first significant step in fulfilling its mission to contribute to cooperation between science and economy.
Continental Automotive Serbia is currently mainly developing solutions for passenger cars and commercial vehicles for the Vehicle Networking and Information (VNI) division.
In less than three years of operation, the company has grown into one of the largest employers in the engineering sector in the country. In March, it opened its first factory in Novi Sad, which will produce the most modern electronic products for the interior of vehicles.
At the end of June, also in Novi Sad, Continental Automotive Serbia started the construction of the second factory, which will be four times bigger than the recently opened one, and it will be the first high tech factory in Novi Sad.
Scientific research and business-technical cooperation will include, among other things, the implementation of joint scientific research projects, product development and production programs and joint work on commercial projects and projects funded by the European Community.
