Government passes several bills

The Serbian government adopted today the Bill on Regulation of the Market of Agricultural Products, the application of which will enable the state to intervene in the event of a disturbance in the prices of certain products on the market and thus protect agricultural producers.

The government adopted the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Financial Support to Families with Children, as part of the overall social care for children.

The government also passed the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Higher Education in order to establish an appropriate legal framework for the National Accreditation Body to fully meet European standards and guidelines for quality assurance in higher education.

The Draft Law on Student Organisation, as well as the Strategy for the Development of Education and Upbringing in the Republic of Serbia until 2030 were also adopted.

Also, the Draft Law on Metrology was adopted, as well as the Fiscal Strategy for 2022 with projections for 2023 and 2024.

The government has made a decision to enable the immunisation of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina against the COVID-19 disease, considering that this neighbouring country does not currently have the necessary amount of vaccines. In this way, solidarity with the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina is expressed and it enables the achievement of collective immunity at the regional level.
