Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikola Selakovic talked today in Madrid with Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) Zurab Pololikashvili about ways and modalities to promote the tourist offer of Serbia and the region within projects and mechanisms available to the World Tourism Organisation.

Selakovic pointed out that Serbia attaches great importance to cooperation with the UNWTO, that it will work on further improvement of that cooperation and strive to be even more active in the programs and projects of the Organisation.
He pointed out that our country has been very active in numerous bodies within the World Tourism Organisation in the last ten years, and said that the government of Serbia sees the tourism sector as one of the key drivers of development in Serbia and the entire region.
Selakovic underlined that the importance that Serbia attaches to tourism is also evidenced by the great incentives of the Government of Serbia to investors, especially in spa tourism, as well as huge investments in road infrastructure in the entire country.
