First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic and Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Serbia Chen Bo agreed today that the relations between the two countries have been significantly improved in the previous period, despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

During a meeting with the Chinese Ambassador, Dacic underlined that after the formation of a new composition of the government and the start of its work at full capacity, a further intensification of cooperation between the two countries is expected in all areas of common interest.
Chen Bo stated that although special measures to curb the spread of COVID-19 are in force in the People’s Republic of China, the government made a decision to allow citizens of several European countries, including Serbia, who have a valid Chinese residence visa to return to China.
