Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Nebojsa Stefanovic talked today with representatives of the ODIHR observation mission about the elections held in the Republic of Serbia.
Stefanovic talked with the delegation, led by Head of Mission Ursula Gacek, about the preliminary report of the ODIHR on the past elections, but also about everything that the government of Serbia has undertaken to improve the entire election process.
Expressing gratitude to the Mission for monitoring the entire election process, he invited its delegation to visit Serbia after the final report, and added that the government would continue to work on further improving the election conditions in our country.
Stefanovic also pointed out that the Ministry of the Interior reacted quickly to several reports during the election day and informed the competent prosecutor's offices about everything.
Gacek expressed her gratitude for the cooperation to the Ministry of the Interior and pointed out that they are ready to continue working with the representatives of the government on improving the election process.
