Miroljub Labus
The officials discussed ways of solving the problem of Kosovo-Metohija and agreed that the international community must strongly advocate the ensuring of institutional guarantees for Serbs and other non-Albanians in the province and their rights by all European standards.
The current economic situation in Serbia was also discussed, and Lehner stressed the importance of the harmonisation of the inner markets of Serbia and Montenegro, and the preparation of an action plan. He said that a single and functional market of Serbia-Montenegro is the main precondition for a positive feasibility study on the country's EU accession.
