Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić today talked with President of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Hungarian Parliament Zsolt Németh about the most important current issues of common interest, with the aim of further improving cooperation.
Đurić underlined that cooperation in the field of economy and infrastructure connectivity, as well as cooperation on other issues, is of exceptional importance for Serbia.
The head of Serbian diplomacy expressed gratitude for Hungary’s consistent and strong support for Serbia’s European integration process, emphasising that the European Union is incomplete without our country and the Western Balkans region.
Serbia, as he emphasised, strives to become an equal and full member of the European Union in the most dignified manner.
In reference to the situation in Kosovo and Metohija, he stressed that Belgrade is doing everything to fulfil its obligations, expressing the expectation that international factors will influence the authorities in Priština so that their representatives will finally begin to behave in the same manner.
