Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic chaired today a meeting of the Joint Group for Improving Serbia's Position on the World Bank's Doing Business list.
Mihajlovic pointed out that an ambitious action plan has been prepared for further improvement of Serbia's position on this list, which will be adopted by the Serbian government in the shortest time possible.
Our goal is to become one of the top five countries in the world in terms of business conditions in the next few years, she underlined and said that further improvement in the field of issuing construction permits will continue.
The Deputy Prime Minister expressed the expectation that in all other fields - from starting a business to getting electricity connection, regulating cadastre, obtaining loans and other, the necessary efforts will be made and the potential to make additional progress will be used.
The participants in the meeting expressed their readiness to start implementing the activities from the prepared action plan within their competencies.
The meeting was attended, among others, by Minister of Finance Sinisa Mali and Minister of Mining and Energy Aleksandar Antic.
