First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic met today in Moscow with Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Yury Borisov.
Dacic and Borisov, as co-chairs of the Intergovernmental Committee on Trade, Economic and Scientific and Technical Cooperation between Serbia and the Russian Federation, held this meeting to get prepared for the next session, which will be held in March in Kazan.
They discussed a wide range of topics that are covered by the work of the Intergovernmental Committee, such as cooperation in the field of energy, especially gas supply, agriculture, industrial production and construction of railway infrastructure.
They also discussed cooperation in the field of science and technology and innovation, as well as other issues from the domain of bilateral relations.
Dacic and Borisov expressed satisfaction with the growth of economic cooperation and the volume of economic trade in the previous year, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
