First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic, who participates in the Doha Forum in Qatar, had separate bilateral meetings with the Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar.
In talks with the Prime Minister of Qatar, Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani and Vice-President of the Council of Ministers and Foreign Minister of the country, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, it was emphasised that the bilateral relations between Serbia and Qatar are good and that they are moving upwards.
It was also pointed out that the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries is being marked this year, and a symbolical ceremony was made to that occasion.
The interlocutors agreed that further efforts should be made to give impetus to the promotion of economic cooperation, since there is great untapped potential.
During the talks, the interlocutors exchanged views on the most important regional and world issues, with a high level of understanding of the challenges in contemporary international relations that many countries face.
Dacic invited his interlocutors to visit Serbia.
