First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic attended the opening ceremony of the 19th Doha Forum in Qatar, whose theme is "Global Governance in the Multipolar World".
The opening ceremony was attended by a number of world leaders, including the President of Rwanda, the President of Armenia, the Prime Minister of Malaysia, the Prime Minister of Somalia, the US Secretary of Commerce, the Foreign Ministers of Slovakia, Turkey and others.
Dacic also met with many of his colleagues, with whom he exchanged views on current world topics. The talks highlighted the importance of meeting regularly and fostering dialogue among world leaders in forums like this one.
He also had the opportunity to speak again with Ivanka Trump, Adviser to the President of the United States, whom whom he met in New York in September this year.
The forum in Doha is sponsored by the Qatar Emir.
Dacic participates in the Forum at the invitation of Vice-President of the Council of Ministers of the State of Qatar and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.
