Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Nebojsa Stefanovic assessed in Berlin today that the Serbian and German police have had excellent results in joint actions in recent years.
During the talks with Minister of the Interior, Building and Community of the Federal Republic of Germany Horst Seehofer about further enhancing police cooperation in the fight against drug trafficking, Stefanovic said that thanks to that cooperation, more than 300 kilograms of various narcotics were seized and several organised criminal groups caught.
He added that Serbian police will strive to be a reliable partner to German police and to everyone else in Europe, but at the same time to be one of the strongest police that will first of all provide peace, security and stability to its citizens.
The Deputy Prime Minister said that he also talked with Seehofer about cooperation in the field of combating irregular migration and all the challenges it carries, and about cooperation in combating potential terrorism.
