First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic met today with newly-appointed Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Serbia Gabit Syzdykbekov.
Syzdykbekov is the first ambassador of Kazakhstan to Serbia, based in Belgrade, after President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Kemelyevich Tokayev issued a decree in July this year raising the country's diplomatic representation to Serbia at the embassy level.
Dacic said that bilateral relations between Serbia and this country are extremely good, but that there is significant room for their further improvement, especially in the sphere of the economy.
The Ambassador of Kazakhstan announced that during his term of office, he will work to deepen bilateral ties between the two countries in all areas, including those where the cooperation so far has not been at an adequate level.
